Core Issues Trust (CIT), based in Northern Ireland, says Barclays Bank is the latest of several companies to stop doing business with the conversion therapy advocacy group. The other companies include Mailchimp and PayPal; Facebook and Instagram allegedly removed content from CIT’s pages.
Forbes credits Mike Buonaiuto of Shape History, a social impact communications agency, for Barclays’ action, after Buonaiuto tweeted that Barclay’s was enabling donations of over £100,000 per year.
